Sometimes you just need to throw a bag on the bike and chase the fog. Coorg — the "Scotland of India" — delivers winding ghat roads, coffee plantations as far as the eye can see, and weather that can't make up its mind.
The route
The ride out was all twisties and cool mountain air. We stopped at a tiny estate homestay, woke up to birdsong, and spent the morning walking through rows of coffee and pepper vines.
