💼 Work
Just wrapped my first month at Inferless as an SDE 2, after two and a half great years at Airtel. It's a serverless GPU inference platform, which means my crash course right now is everything I didn't know I didn't know: model cold starts, GPU scheduling, and why "it works on my machine" hits different when the machine is an A100.
I'm ramping up on the Console — the frontend our pilot customers use to deploy and monitor models. Small team, big surface area, exactly the kind of ownership I switched jobs for.
🛠️ Learning
- The ML-infra landscape, from the frontend looking in.
- Load-testing patterns for inference workloads.
- Resisting the urge to rewrite everything I see in week one.
🌱 Otherwise
- Bengaluru monsoon is in full swing, which means filter coffee consumption is at an all-time high and my balcony plants are thriving without my help.
- Plotting a Western Ghats trek for the post-monsoon window. Kudremukh keeps coming up.
- This site barely exists yet — a blog is allegedly coming. This page is my accountability mechanism.
